Changes for 2020.

With most of our planned activities still on hold and a very uncertain future, it was good to see approaching 50 of you on screen for the Joe Whitehead Zoom talk at the end of June. Joe told us that they are about to embark on the restoration of the 14 acre kitchen gardens at Burghley and suggested that we might like to be the first to make a private visit to it. We will be able to see its current state and hear what is planned, definitely something to look forward to. He will let us know when this becomes possible.

Although our coach trip to Kiftsgate and Hidcote has had to be cancelled, we have rebooked for Sunday 25th July 2021 so please make a note of the date in your forward planners!

Whilst we are unable to run our traditional annual flower show this year, a sub-committee has been working hard to plan a Wansford village show (on your doorstep) for that date, Saturday 29th August. Of course it is not restricted to those who live in Wansford and you are all welcome to come along and see what is on offer.

For further details of the Village Show contact: Gary & Rhona Punter, Quentin Arnold, Mandy Veni or call 07889 651414 or visit http://www.wansfordhorticulturalsociety.org.uk
